Seeing a lot of AI generators complaining today
Sucks to suck. You didn't work for this skill, you're just using others skill for your own gain. AI is theft, you don't have the right to call yourself an "artist". I've been so mad seeing all these artists being taken advantage of for so long, and its so refreshing for these thieves to finally get hit back. When in doubt, ask for sketches, WIPs, layer screenshots. Don't fall for these scams. Don't give them money. The market has been oversaturated for years, from artists doing real actual work, these image generators, prompt writers, wannabe artists have done nothing to deserve being on the same site as the rest of us, nor do they deserve being paid for work that others did to make their prompt visualization possible. Fuck AI, Fuck AI "artists", pay for merch or actual commissions instead.

Things don't get easier, do they?
I constantly find myself wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Or if I'm just not "cut out" for this type of environment. It feels like every time I advertise my commissions, it comes out of desperation, and that doesn't ever seem to get more manageable. I've been doing this for years, and still, every time, it feels like I'm struggling to find an audience. Does anyone even read these? Who knows, probably not. I've been abroad for almost 5 months now, and during this time I've had to rely on my friends to get by. Which is fine, I expected that to be the case, but now that it's time to return home and I still can't make ends meet (or in this case - have to choose between paying my taxes or being able to afford a bus ticket to get home....) it's kind of devastating. Short explanation I'm currently living abroad, and being here has turned out to be a lot more expensive than I anticipated (along with income being slow lately). At this rate I will run out of money in just two or three weeks. I don't have to worry about having a place to stay, thankfully, but I do pay for most of my food myself (as well as other random expenses of just being out and about), so being broke would put a lot of strain on the people I'm staying with. I estimate that I would need about 100$ a week to not have to worry about basic expenses (back in my home country, 50$ would last me the whole month, essentially).
